In my free time, you’ll find me researching about vexillology (the study of flags) 🏴‍☠️

Since 2018 I research, write, teach and lecture about vexillology — the scientific study of the history, symbolism, and usage of flags, or by extension, any interest in flags in general.  It’s a passion, a hobby and serious work.

My reseach focuses on the multifaceted meaning of flags as a vital medium of communication and visual expression, revealing their pivotal roles in shaping art, identity and activism across social and cultural contexts.
